Llenaire

We love a good story and in the case of the Hotel LLenaire there is a wonderful family history. The estate has been in the Colom Muntaner family for several generations with the great grandparents of the current owners returning to Mallorca from Cuba in the 19th Century to purchase this amazing piece of land.

What was a typical Mallorcan finca quickly became a home for the entire family that was eventually in 1910 turned into an elegant manor house perched up on the hillside with its commanding views.

Today, after a complete transformation from a family estate into a wonderful rural retreat, the Hotel LLenaire sits proudly soaking up the dramatic coastline of Forementor and the sparkling Pollenca Bay. A place for pure relaxation with a natural and peaceful vibe that you also get to enjoy with purebred Mallorcan sheep that are pasturing in the fields.

From the very private grounds, with countless almond, fig, olive and lemon and orange trees, you get to marvel at the truly breathtaking views of this part of the island. If you do fancy a change of scenery then you are still within a very short distance from glorious sandy beaches if you are craving some sea and beach time.

Rooms

Spread across the different wings of the manor house there is a mixture of 12 air conditioned double rooms and suites that capture the essence and elegance of the history of the house, some have the most amazing dreamy sea views. Original floors, beams and classically designed Mallorcan furniture all combine to maintain the historic flair with modern day guest requirements. There are some lovely little touches with the bathrobes and slippers and pillow menu.

Experiences

Within the hotel and grounds are plenty of spots to unwind or if you are feeling energetic then there is always the tennis court to find your inner Nadal! After you’ve hit a few aces then you can head over to the swimming pool to cool down with a cocktail or two. If that still leaves you hankering after some more pampering then there are massage and beauty treatments also available.

The hotel has a reputation for an excellent restaurant that offers a farm to table experience that features produce from its own gardens. They produce their own jams, lamb from the estate and to top it all they make a fabulous sobrassada sausage, a speciality of the island.

It’s a fabulous spot for lunch and dinner with a comprehensive range of local dishes. The tapas and a la carte menu, together with a wine list that includes many local producers, will give you plenty to ponder over but sitting on the terrace, with those distracting views, you might be asking for a few extra minutes to decide.

The family are committed to their guests having a wonderful experience at their hotel. They are firm believers of sustainable tourism and love sharing their family story with visitors to this beautiful spot. If you are not able to stay then at least go and enjoy a wonderful lunch or dinner you wont be disappointed.
