Mon Boutique

If you fancy being right in the heart of the beautiful historic centre of Pollença then the Mon, a newly refurbished four star luxury hotel is perfect for a stay. Located on the beautiful square it is open for most of the year, so a really good place to base yourself especially if you are looking for some winter sun to enjoy the walking in the picturesque hills and mountains around Pollença.

If you’ve never been to Pollença then you are in for a real treat. A beautiful historic town surrounded by mountains, cobbled streets lined with bars and cafes and all watched over by the Puig de Maria. Slow paced and relaxing you will be able to enjoy the hotel and Pollença without feeling hurried.

Rooms

After a day on the beach or strolling around the streets of the many ancient towns you can come back to an elegant and well appointed air conditioned room to relax before enjoying a Gin & Tonic on the terrace. There's a mixture of standard doubles, superiors, deluxes and suites, some with balconies that look out over the trees and rooftops of the square. There are also some rooms with private hot tubs perfect for any time of the year.

Experiences

The Mon has a great restaurant that has an a-la-carte menu and also a very reasonably priced menu-de-dia offering a three course lunch. The town has many restaurants that have these lunch time offers and the Mon is amongst the better options. During the winter the restaurant is open for lunch which you have inside in a very cosy and bright restaurant and during the summer months you also have the choice of dining outside on their terrace on the square. We have eaten here a few times and on every occasion we couldn’t fault it.

The hotel describes itself as ‘elegance and style on the main square’ and you really can’t argue with that. Definitely worth a visit, even if it is just to enjoy a drink or some excellent food whilst soaking up the ambience of the town.
